We went to go on a trip to Cape town to se the beach and the capital of South Africa. on the day we go to the beach fore a little swim and chill. After that we went in to the city to se the town. there we descided us to find a local resturant with some local food

Kruger National Park


The Kruger National park is huge, it’s even bigger than Israel and is 20 000 square kilometers. The national park is divided in regions, in the central region there's lions, leopards, hyena and cheetahs. In the north part its birds hippos, buffalos and wild dogs and there is much more exciting animals in the park. We had a really good time in the national park and had a lot of fun looking at the animals!

fieldtrip to Mafadi Peak!

We got on a buss and drove to Mafadi peak, it is the biggest mountain in South Africa, and roams at a hight of 3.450m. it was a long walk, it took about 5 hours, but the view was amazing! we could see large desert- like plains of sand with some vegetation.

South Africa is the 25th largest country in the world by area, and the 24th most populous country with over 48 million people.
South africa is known as a newly industrated country, and is probably the richest out of all the countries in africa.

Our hotel

On our way to the hotel we saw the beautiful city called Pretoria. The city was almost divided in two parts, the part for the rich and the part for the poor. As we came to our hotel, we were already in the outskirts of the city.

Trip to South-Africa

We arrived Pretoria witch is the executive capital of South-Africa at 04:00am, the city was founded the Boer  leader named Mathinus Pretorius, who named the city after his father; Andries Pretorius in the picture belowe. Pretorius became famous after the war of blood river against the Zulu's witch ended in 1902. South-Africa became independant 31th of mai 1910 and the 14th of octobre 1931 Pretoria got itselves a city status.

Great Barrier Reef!

Early in the morning we went to the Great Barrier Reef. The reef was far away so we had to ride a bus. When we arrived, we got diving gear and were ready to check it out!



Here are some fun-facts about the great barrier reef:

The Great Barrier Reef is the world's largest coral reef system composed of over 2,900 individual reefs and 900 islands stretching for over 2,600 kilometres 1,600 miles over an area of approximately 344,400 square kilometres 133,000 square miles. The reef is located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland, Australia.
The Great Barrier Reef can be seen from outer space and is the world's biggest single structure made by living organisms.This reef structure is composed of and built by billions of tiny organisms, known as coral polyps. It supports a wide diversity of life and was selected as a World Heritage Site in 1981. CNN labeled it one of the seven natural wonders of the world.The Queensland National Trust named it a state icon of Queensland.

Partytime!

Yesterday was a fun day! we first rented some ATVs and took them for a ride on the countryside. later on we went to a club called Amnesia, it was alot of fun!
